Actually there was logic behind his move, they stated earlier if she died instantly it wouldn't work, so he was worried she would be killed instantly, so him jumping in was actually semi maybe why she lived even as she was still stabbed really deep. He was straight up merc'ed.

All but the crow are useless characters, that so the enemy take them so easy to another place like bags of trash xD just like that without even fighting or struggle. And the enemy can attack them so freely out of nowhere whenever he pleases xD
